Too confusing!

After a heart to heart with my colleague, I discovered that the boss was being far from truthful and so things are resolved with said colleague - turns out she's had more than her fair share of MWoCs lately as well. Obviously the boss is trying the 'divide and conquer' technique - not the best plan.

Anyhoo, after another session today I was informed that it is not appropriate to sit at my desk and knit at lunchtime (even when I'm stuck in the office and there is no-one else to cover the phones).

The phrase 'work to rule' sounds more and more appealing...
